“Earth is the cradle of humanity, but one cannot live in a cradle forever”
― Konstantin Tsiolkovsky

Space Exchange is a think tank dedicated to addressing the most pressing challenges within the space sector. Our work is driven by a commitment not only to identify critical problems but to design and implement solutions that deliver meaningful and lasting impact.

We operate with a strong belief that the next fifty years will define the future of human activity in space. Decisions made during this period will fundamentally reshape how the space sector is governed, financed, secured, and sustained. Meeting this moment requires new institutions that are designed for the complexity, pace, and interconnectedness of the twenty-first century. Space Exchange Global aspires to be one such institution.

Our purpose

Space Exchange is a global organisation with a singular purpose. We identify global problems in the space sector, develop viable solutions, and actively implement them.

Our approach is project-driven. Each initiative is structured as an independent project with a clearly defined objective and pathway to impact. We believe that different problems demand different implementation models, and we select the structure that offers the highest likelihood of success.

Our process

In cases where public interest, policy development, or collective action is best served through non-profit activity, Space Exchange operates projects through its non-profit entity, Space Exchange Global C.I.C.

These projects are conceived, led, and funded within a non-profit framework and are designed to generate benefits for the global space community. All such initiatives are clearly designated as non-profit on their respective project pages on this website.

Space Exchange Global C.I.C. exists to originate and operate projects that address critical global issues in space, with a focus on sustainability, governance, security, and long-term societal value.

In cases where market-driven execution offers the most effective path to implementation, Space Exchange operates projects through its commercial entity, Space Exchange Ltd.

These projects are led and funded through a for-profit structure and pursue commercially viable solutions to space sector challenges. They are designed to deliver transformative impact while also targeting attractive returns for investors. All such initiatives are clearly designated as profit on their associated project pages.

Space Exchange Ltd. is a privately owned limited liability company engaged in business activities that seek to address structural challenges in the space sector through innovation, investment, and scale.
